International Students

The Foster MBA community is an international one. International students make up 34 percent of our 2008 MBA class and come from over 19 countries. More than 20 percent of full-time Foster School faculty hold passports from outside the U.S. Our alumni work all over the globe in more than 40 countries.

International students find our community to be inclusive and diverse. They discover a program suffused with global awareness. With courses ranging from Deal Making in a Global Arena to International Financial Management, all Foster MBA students can acquire a broad global perspective on business.

MBA Career Services offers workshops that are targeted specifically at international students. For example, last summer, first year MBA international students joined Success Now!, a place to ask questions, practice answers, critique resumes and get support in the job search process.  Other workshops offer information on visa issues and working in the U.S. after graduation.

If you’re an international student considering applying, or already a member of our community, you’ll find information and sources using the navigation on this page. If you can’t find what you need, the MBA Program Office will help. Call us at 1-866-778-9622 (toll free in the U.S.) or 206-543-4661 or email mba@u.washington.edu.
